DotNetNuke Quiz Module

The ICG DotNetNuke Quiz Module is a Quiz/Testing engine built to work within DotNetNuke.  Site administrators can create quizzes, and make them available to users by assigning specific quizzes to DotNetNuke Roles.  Once the quiz has been created users can take the quiz at any time, and they will receive instant feedback regarding the pass/failure of the quiz.

Advanced features include the ability to specify renewal periods or to grant users access to specific roles after they have finished the quiz!  See the administrators guide for full information!

After version 03.00.00 there were reports of issues with new installations on DotNetNuke 5.x, and a few bug reports from prior versions. This release fixes those items.

  • Resolved installation errors on DNN 5.x sites when starting with 3.x module version
  • Resolved "Object Not Set To Instance" error after quiz submission
  • Resolved issue where user individual question answers were not being recorded
  • Resolved issue with "Expire Days" value being required when it shouldn't be

This release was a major collection of changes to improve usability and to build the foundation needed for future releases.

Fixes

  • FDM-114 - Error with 100% passing score and non-english locale
  • FDM-97 - Error when moving questions up or down, if not in proper location

Enhancements

  • FDM-124 - Notify user on the save of the quiz info
  • FDM-91 - Ability to set an expiration date on the 
  • FDM-125 - Added "Separator" template item to quiz engine, current default is nothing, but could be used to insert a line between items
  • FDM-74 - Add user to role on pass

This release is a maintenance release to fix a few outstanding issues and solidify the code for the upcoming 03.00.00 release which will be adding new features.

Highlights of the release include fixes for international users with localization as well as improvements in the question UI allowing for HTML input.  Please see the Change Log for detail.

This is the first enhancement release for the module.  Included in this release is a number of bug fixes and cosmetic changes for the adminstrators to allow for better use of the system.

In addition a new reporting function has been added that allows users with edit permissions to view the quiz results for all users that have taken the quiz.
