Hi Mitch,

I hope all is well on your side!

I’ve got a feature request (non-urgent, but I thought I would mention it for your Expandable HTML mod:

It would be good if you could link to a single item on the list and have it either expand by itself or show up by itself. For example, I recently needed to refer to Number 8 down on this page - http://www.pokerdiy.com/faq/poker-games.aspx and it would be great if I could just link to that particular topic...

Thanks

Rodney,

Great idea, and we have a few options for this. I'd be curious as to your thoughts.

1.) Simply add an HTML anchor with the ID of the post, so you could do something like http://yoururl.com/yourstuff/default.aspx#MyItemId
2.) Actually have the module parse a querystring value, and clear all other items, and only render the specific item, and always render it as expanded

I favor #1, however, if the item isn't expanded by default, that would cause a bit of a problem...

Hi Mitch,

Just checking if something like this made it into the product?

Which implementation do you prefer?

I can most likely get you a custom build.

Hi Mitch,

Ok, IMHO the best end result would be showing all FAQs but with the one expanded that is selected (as opposed to showing just one at a time).

So.. the question is how to expand it - would a bit of JQuery not be able to take in the anchor tag name and expand it (I really don't know - have not really used Jquery yet!)

No need for a custom build - there's no rush - just would like it at some point.

Thanks

Mitchel,

Did you ever get a custom build of the this capability? I have exactly the same need and would like to test it if it is available.

Rodney,

Would you be willing to be a tester for the next release? I think I have this resolved but want to get someone to test it first.
