I've noticed that when expanding items in Firefox that any components to the right of the Expandable Text component move further to the right whilst expanding and then move back to their original position once the expansion has completed. This does not happen in IE7 or IE8.

This would have to be related to the skin in which your content is being placed in. I have validated that within our site, and a few other test sites that we do not see this behavior.

If you do not have a set size on a content area, I could see the jQuery code causing things to get a bit larger as it expands due to the effect that it has.
