I enabled this option and instead of showing the description as a tooltip, it is being displayed as part of the page link text. [Admin - Removed URL Per Request]
Could you please help me fix this?

Additionally, changing to the default DNN skin does not make any difference.

We are researching this issue, it looks like that might cause us to do another release.

What version of DNN?

DNN version - 5.6.1
Also, I would like to remove the URL from being publicly visible. I realised it too late that posts cannot be edited.

I removed the URL for you.

What are all of the settings for that instance?

Great, Thanks for removing the URL.
Settings:

> Force New Windows for External URL = false
> View Type = Tree Menu
> Hidden Tabs = None/Blank
> Include Description Tooltip = True

We are looking into this and trying to identify the best way to handle this.

What version of DNN are you using? We are looking at potentially a DNN 6.x only upgrade for this module to help with some usability items.

That's ok. But it would be helpful if you could provide an estimate on the release date.
Our DNN version is 5.6.1. If you are planning a DNN6.x only upgrade, could you please provide me a hotfix for my version? I could do without other enhancements as long as the features "promised to me" work.

I can issue you a refund for the module at this point. There appears to be a DNN 5.6.x specific issue that we cannot recreate that is causing issues. This module has been in use for a number of years without issues, and it looks like the fix for 5.6.x will break the 6.x version.

If you would like a refund, please e-mail me directly at msellers@iowacomputergurus.com with your Snowcovered Invoice Number.

"it looks like the fix for 5.6.x will break the 6.x version".

If you think the issue can be fixed in principle, then I would appreciate if you could provide us a "hotfix". We are not planning to upgrade our website in the foreseeable future. Even if we do, the onus will be on us to obtain the appropriate version of the module from you.

Right now, it is looking to be at least a few hours of development to resolve this, and it would be a single branch for your organization, as others are not experiencing this issue with their 5.x sites.

I can't at this point get a custom version of the module out for you.

I will try to see if I can get something figured out as an alternative, but I cannot promise that we will be able to.
