I really like this module as it will help with the task of cleaning up the database and keeping the size of the database under control. In the description of the Scheduled SQL Jobs module it is stated that this is a host level module, but I just installed v1.5.0 on a test site and it is available as a module to be installed on any page and therefore able to be accessed users other than the host account. I was looking for some documentation to see if I missed anything as part of the install or setup to keep it available only to host level. Is there a way to make it available only to host level? I would like to install this on more of my DNN sites, but I am not sure I want even Administrative users of some of those sites to have access to this module. Thanks! Kerry |

Kerry, There are a few things. 1.) The module should NOT be rending any functionality to any user other than host, so even if added to a page they cannot do anything. 2.) You could add it to the page desired, then set it as a "Premium" module, and not assigining it to the portal, effectivly removing it from the drop down. For the next release we are working on some alternatives. |

Mitch, Thanks for the quick reply. I had not played with it far enough to realize that it would not render to just host accounts. That is great info. Thanks for the suggestion for setting it as premium to keep it from being available from the module drop down after I have it added to my desired page. Thanks again for the info and the great module! Kerry, No problem at all, I'm glad that you like it. As we getn time, version 2.0 of the module will be 100 times better as it will allow you to add custom job types to the system! |
