Depending on how your page is showing, you will see a design time error, this is the nature of the Visual Studio integration.
If you must have design time working, you should have the following structure.
Module and "ExternalData" project in the /DesktopModules/AuthenticatioServices/ folder
Then in the "Settings" for the project, setup the virtual directory for the web project, then specify a "Override default root" and set it to the ROOT IIS URL for your development installation. |
